Track Delivery Progress through Color Coded Job Status Updates
To make it easy to see job status progress, the color and text will change next to each job to indicate the job stage.
RECEIVED: Unassigned Jobs
Jobs Awaiting to be Dispatched: Unassigned tasks are those tasks that a driver has not yet accepted. This view will show where these tasks are located on the map along with the full task details in the left panel. Notice, these tasks will be marked as “Received” to easily distinguish them when viewing all jobs in this panel.
Adjust Anytime
- Upon clicking on a specific task, you will have the ability to:
- Edit the job
- Change driver percentage of the delivery fee to be collected, when applicable
- Easily call the pick-up contact, and/or drop-off contact
Dispatch
- Under Notifications, you will see a list of drivers. It also shows their current job load and distance from the pickup.
- An algorithm ranks the drivers based on who is the best fit to take this particular job.
- It indicates if a driver is on Wage or Commission with a (C)
- It indicates which driver(s) have been notified of the job
- You can manually notify other drivers by click on their corresponding tile

ACCEPTED & EN ROUTE: In Progress Jobs
Jobs that are Accepted or En Route: Jobs in Progress provide a quick view into all the tasks that have been accepted by your drivers. The driver can be on his/her way to pick-up, or on-way to drop-off, all the while you can track this by the dynamic status changes from Accepted, to En Route.
Adjust Anytime
- Should you require any changes on the go, upon clicking on a specific task you will have the ability to:
- Edit the job, where the driver will be instantly notified of a change made via a push notification
- Rush a task to be prioritize above other accepted jobs and the driver will be notified of this change via the mobile app push notifications
- Cancel a task
- Set “On Way”, which will trigger the en route alert if that is customized in your settings
- Complete a task for the driver
- Remove Driver and the task status will automatically update to Received
- Easily call the pick-up contact, and/or drop-off contact
FUTURE: Pre-Scheduled Jobs
Differentiating Pre-Scheduled Jobs: With GetSwift you have the ability to upload tasks that are scheduled for a later time. These tasks will be differentiated from your on-demand business with the FUTURE status.

- Should you require any changes on the go, upon clicking on a specific task you will have the ability to:
- Edit the job, you can make changes to the Instruction, reference number, pick-up details, drop-off details, times, and/or items
- Change driver percentage of the delivery fee to be collected, when applicable
- Easily call the pick-up contact, and/or drop-off contact
- Cancel a task
Dispatching Future Orders:
- When a future job is within the Driver Notification Window, the status will change to FUTURE (NOTIFIED)
- Green: it is not assigned to a driver
- Orange: it has been assigned to a driver
- Your driver(s) will not be notified of future tasks until they fall within the notification parameter that you determined in your advanced settings. Learn more about dispatching future jobs here.
Late Jobs
Exception Management, Easily differentiate Jobs Running Late: Late jobs are the orders that have yet to be delivered to the end customer and surpass the latest predetermined drop-off time window. You will quickly see when the job was due, whether it was abandoned by the driver and its current status of Received, Accepted, or En Route for quick planning to get back on track.

- Edit the job
- Change driver percentage of the delivery fee to be collected, when applicable,
- Easily call the pick-up contact, and/or drop-off contact
- Furthermore, for jobs that have been Accepted or En Route, additional options are available. You can:
- Rush a task to be prioritize above other accepted jobs and the driver will be notified of this change via the mobile app push notifications.
- Cancel a task
- Set “On Way”, which will trigger the en route alert if that is customized in your settings.
- Complete a task for the driver.
- Remove Driver and the task status will automatically update to Received.
